Tomorrow is my last outdoor show of the year and I am thrilled. Although I love the great outdoors I hate dealing with the Michigan heat. I am not a fan of summer, heat or humidity. I think the shows that it rained at and were cooler were my favorite shows. The weather man says it's going to rain tomorrow late in the afternoon but I am OK with that since it is also not suppose to be over 70 tomorrow and only 73 degrees on Sunday. This is perfect weather for an outdoor show in my opinion. I will not have to sit with my feet in the cooler because they are so swollen that it is hard to stand nor will I have to hang ice cold wet paper towels around the back of my neck and pretend that I am in the air conditioning. It's going to be a good weekend!
Since this was my first year of outdoor shows and I had no idea what to expect, I have to say that most of the people were wonderful with a few crazy ones thrown in for fun, one lady who walked by our booth and said that it wasn't jewelry if it didn't involve diamonds and gold. I stood there wondering what it was I had been working on for the past few years if it wasn't jewelry??? I laugh about this now and will for a very long time since a whole lot of other people seem to think it is jewelry and are willing to spend their hard earned money to wear it proudly, I think I will keep on spending my days making and selling my non jewelry since I don't plan on adding gold or diamonds anytime soon if ever.
