I came up with a new bracelet a few days ago but haven't shared it with you because I haven't come up with a name for it. The great thing about this design is it will be easy for me to adjust the length to fit most any wrist by just adding a few links into the design. I love the rich texture and color, the lesson I learned while building these is if one patina doesn't work try another or three. If you have a suggestion for a name I would really appreciate if you would share it.

It's so hard to hold the camera still and take a photo of the back of your own wrist. |
No name bracelet, please help me give it one. |
Oh my gosh the textures are just beautiful, and made even more so with the dark patina.
ReplyDeleteAs for a name, I'm drawing a blank.
it reminds me of something faerie and celtic. Fairy Garden is a bit smarmy/cliched, um... Celtic Garden?
ReplyDeleteI'll keep thinking.
That is gorgeous. It looks a little like wings to me, so how about "Wings" or "Free Flight"?

I don't have a name either, but my first thought was Viking...something... I agree, it looks Celtic or Norse to me. But I can't seem to put two words together to make something creative from that thought!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, as usual, you are in touch with your muse. I don't know how you come up with these ideas, but you do. Amazing metal work, and I love the idea of being able to add the links too. People just aren't "one size fits all." Great idea!
Tossing out a few now because my brain won't stop thinking about it...Metal Muse Bracelet, Norse Link Bracelet, Link to the Past Bracelet,...(This seems much more challenging than your last word game!) Ha!
I think we have a winner, I like Celtic Garden :) Thanks for all the suggestions my brain was stuck.
