I love silver glass

I know I have posted about how much I love silver glass before but here are some more lovelies for your viewing pleasure.  There is something about this glass that is so simple yet every bead looks different and it's a crap shoot, what goes in the kiln isn't always what comes out, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's baby poo.  No baby poo this day :)

"Tiny Bubbles"

 

Today I spent several hours making big hole beads with tiny bubbles in them and this song kept running through my head.  Often I find it easier on the mind to pick a style then sit and make them until my mandrels run out. By the way I have 52 big hole mandrels :)  I get into a rhythm when sticking to the same style, it can be a bit meditative.  These look like jolly rancher candies would if they had bubbles in them.
