Buttons n Lace Bracelets

Yesterday I hit 30,000 page hits and I just want to say thanks to all my great followers.

I just finished some bracelets made out of the buttons n lace pendants.  I wasn't sure how they would work for a bracelet but they fit nice and the simplicity of the design works well.  I think my grandma would have loved to see her button box and hankies turned into such fun items to wear.

Vacation Projects

I don't know about you but when I think about vacation I dream about what type of project I want to bring along  I love vacation but I am  not big on just sitting idle so for a week before this past vacation I copper foiled everything I could get my hands on.  Once finished I had a box of over 200 foiled goodies all ready to be soldered.  Soldering is a perfect picnic table project, it doesn't take a lot of tools and all you need is electric. I didn't get all the pieces done during the trip since it was so hot for the first 4 days and we didn't even want to move but once the weather cooled down to 85 degrees I got a bunch done.  It has taken me this past week to finish up the rest and now I have great pieces to include into some fun funky jewelry.
A wood folding ruler got the saw treatment for these little pendants.
I also have these with double loops and they measure
3/4 inch wide and all different lengths.  These are double sided with a
different number on the opposite side.
$5.00 each please let me know if you want one loop or a loop on both sides.
If there is a number you want please let me know and I will see if I have it :)
Antique button pendants and links
ranging from 3/4 of an inch to 1 1/2 inches.
$5.00 Each for small and medium sized
most of these have two loops but some of the
smaller ones only have one if that's what you want.
$7.00 for the large ones.

Little compass links measuring just under an inch across the smaller part.
$8.00 each
All the glass pendants are made from recycled window glass except where noted.  I want to thank Mix Hardware for letting me sort through the trash.

These pendants measure 2 X 7/8 of an inch.
$12.00 each
These are microscope glass and measure 3 x 1 inch.
$12.00 each
These little pendants measure 1 7/8 x 7/8 of an inch.
$12.00 Each
These measure 2 1/8 x 1 1/8 inch.
$12.00 Each

By the way I am sorry about the constant blog address in every photo but with things being posted to Pinterest often the link gets lost then there is no way of knowing where a photo is from. Pinterest is great and I love seeing my work show up on people's boards but it really makes me mad when the link gets lost and no one knows who's photo it is.  If you have a blog and are posting beautiful photos of your work I would suggest you do the same.

The Button Swap

Cindy from www.sweetbeadstudio.com organized a button swap and I had a few buttons I could part with so I joined the group.  The rules were to contact your partner and find out what types of buttons and colors they like and send out four from your collection.  I was matched up with Maureen Baranov who sent me four beautiful buttons that then sat on my shelf until last night when I knew something had to be made out of them.  Always working best under the wire (LOL) I hammered out the best working heart pin I have ever made.  I received four buttons but only had to use one in the finished piece, since I was working on something small I decided on the one black jet glass bead with some really nice sparkle pairing it with four other much smaller beads from my collection.  The finished pin is going to look great on my gray wool jacket.

Please visit the other bloggers that will also have their finished button jewelry posted today.
