Amazing Paperweights

I made my first paperweight at the West Michigan Glass Society in Kalamazoo this past Saturday and it was a blast.  I was amazed at how much paperweight making was like making beads just on a much larger scale.  Mine is a round one but some of the others used an optical mold to shape theirs and they are just as beautiful.  You too can make a paperweight with no experience at the Glass Society, please click here if you are interested.

This is my beautiful paperweight :)
Melissa's Paperweight, The photo doesn't do this one justice.

Karen's Paperweight, this has amazing colors with some dicro running through it.

Jamey Lynn's Paperweight, Amazing

Deb's Paperweight for some reason this looks like giant nose to me :)

Ann Marie's Paperweight, The photo did pick up some of the beautiful dicro.

Sandra R's Paperweight,  The colors in this are more pastel than the rest.

Sandra H's Paperweight, this reminds me of the ocean.
