I have had these beads in my box for some time knowing that the perfect project would come along at some point. They are made out of my favorite silver glass Cleo. The true beauty of these beads are very hard to catch, they shine blues, greens and fuschia with some other colors thrown in for fun. It's a crap shoot with this glass, some days it's all beautiful and then try it again a month later and you get nothing but poo.
This is another project from the Aspire to Wire class with my twist, Kerry tends to use a lot of smaller wire but I like the bulk of 14 gauge and I have piles of it to recycle in the studio so it's my go to gauge. The whole necklace has been made a bit bigger and the look is heavier and a bit chunky. Her version also didn't have beads but I thought the design was screaming for them.

What a great twist on Kerry's design! I haven't had time to go and see her tutorial but I really like the chunky wire. And your glass beads are luscious! Enjoy the day. Erin
