So Many Shells

So many shells so little time.  I have buckets of shells that Dave and I  have picked up off the beaches of Florida, they are just waiting to be turned into beautiful jewelry.  After making the bracelet out of the roman glass I got to thinking that I have shells shaped like the glass so today I went down to the studio and started drilling. The bracelets turned out great and fit really well due to the natural curve of the shells.
I made these toggles the other day after loving the on my roman glass bracelet.

  1. These are absolutely beautiful. My daughter just started making some pieces from the shells we gathered lst year on Florida's Gulf coast.

  3. All great pieces. I love picking up shells at the beach and have a ton of them, too. I've used some of them in my stained glass, fused glass items, but I love these, too.

  4. Wonderful bracelets!! The natural variations in the shells give each bracelet its own look. :)

  6. I also have those many, many buckets of shells that I've puzzled over how to work in to my designs. These worked out BEAUTIFULLY! What an inspired result.
