I love to made viking knit for bracelets and such, last night I was looking at some viking knit photos and realized that there wasn't any reason why I couldn't do the single viking knit with two strands of wire. This gives the knit a whole different look, it has beefier more coarse feeling. The photo below shows typical double viking knit on top and the new double wire, single knit on the bottom (still attached to the dowel). There are many wonderful videos on how to create viking knit
here if you would like to learn how.
