Cuttlefish Casting

Today I took a Cuttlefish Casting class at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. My first pour went well but the second one was a bust. Here are some photos of the first cast.

It looked pretty rough so I wasn't so sure at this point things were going to be any good. 

After sawing off the excess and polishing it up I think my first shot was a success.
